Abstract研究赤道电离层泡的出现率与赤道带低平流层大气准两年振荡(QBO)的关系.发现赤道电离层泡的出现率受到QBO的调制.这种调制有很强的经度效应:在印度-东非扇区,QBO东风向,赤道电离层泡出现率高;QBO西风向,赤道电离层泡出现率低;在美洲扇区情况则与此相反.文章认为这是低纬电离层受到来自下边大气行星波扰动的又一证据
Other AbstractThe relationship between the percentage occurrence of the equatorial plasma bubble(EPB) and the Quasi-Biennial Oscillatioin(QBO) of the low-stratospheric mean zonal wind at equatorial zone has been investigated to reveal the QBO-modulation effect on the percentage occurrence of the EPB. A longitudinal deqendence of this QBO-modulation effect is also found: The percentage occurrence of the EPB is increase(decrease) in the east phase of the QBO at India-East Africa Sector(at America Sector);and it is decrease(increase)in the west phase of the QBO at India—East Africa sector(at America sector).It is suggested that this represents a new evidence that the low—latitude ionosphere iS mod ulalced by the atmospheric planetary wave from be low.
