Other AbstractThe magnetosphere-ionosphere electrodynamic coupling is studied using an equivalent circuit model so as to investigate the me}anism of mag}ospheric storm and sitbstorms.A set of dreuit Datarnetets is carefully detemined on the basis of the observed plasma parameters.the circuit model thus constructed can successfully reporduce several observed behaviors of the magnetosphere during major storms and substorms.
