Other Abstracts-wave velocities plays an important role in rccognition of reservoir lithology and physical properties and fluids.But now most wells are lack of s-wave logging velocity data.Thus.it is of great significance to accurate. 1y compute 8-wave velocities in the wells without s-wave logging velocity data. A new method to fit s.wave curve through calculating stratigraphic skeleton cun,e is introduced,which builds muhiple regressi。n equati。n to predict s-wave curve using the stratigraphic skeleton curve,the conventional curves and measured s.wave curve.and ob. tained good results.
