Abstract | A novel method of radar altimeter return noise signals identification is proposed. The second-order cumulant given by the conventional filtering method can identify the Gaussian signals. The third-order cumulant can distinguish thle nonsymmetric and non-Gaussian component. The forth-order cumulant that are provided by a special method can discern the symmetric: non-Gaussian as well as harmonic components. |
