AbstractA simple meshing technique based on mathematical mapping is introduced in this paper. In this technique, a basic unit, such as A rectangle plate or a circular plate, is generated using triangular patches, then mapped into a specified surface using mathematical formula. In this way, closed or open cylinder by rectangular plate and any dish reflector by circular plate can be easily generated. Examples are given for wire antennas and dish reflectors with radiation pattern, gain and impedance simulations using Rao-Wilton-Glisson (RWG) basis function based MoM.
