Other AbstractIn order to compute the Total Ionization Dose(TID) in a complex spacecraft accurately,a novel method for evaluating the radiation dose inside the spacecraft is proposed in this paper by integrating the straight line theory with the software Pro/ENGINEER.Shielding thicknesses and radiation doses in several simple geometry bodies such as cubic,sphere,planar,etc are computed by the method respectively.The results indicate that the new method based on software Pro/ENGINEER is credible.Whats more,a complex model equivalent to the middle scale spacecraft is computed,the result indicates that the new method based on the software Pro/ENGINEER is highly effective.
