Abstract | This paper presents a Non-Gaussian scattering model on rough surface based on Local Curvature Approximation (NG-LCA) model. The comparison of the normalized radar cross section (NRCS) of LCA and that of measurement data from QuikSCAT's SeaWinds scatterometer shows that NG-LCA can be easer to interpret the Upwind/downwind asymmetry and results are consistent with previous lectures. © 2011 IEEE.; This paper presents a Non-Gaussian scattering model on rough surface based on Local Curvature Approximation (NG-LCA) model.
