AbstractIn the ocean exploration and research, remote sensing technology has become one of the most effective means. As a kind of passive microwave remote sensor, polarimetric microwave radiometer uses multiple correlating technologies to obtain the results of the global large-scale wind field, available cloud water content in the atmosphere, water vapor content and surface temperature and other parameters with the advantage of low power and high accuracy in high-speed wind condition. The principle and structure of polarimetric microwave radiometer system are introduced in the paper. Two correlating treatment options are proposed. Details of the high-speed sampling, high-speed computing and PCB design methods are introduced. Calibration of the system is analyzed. The result of completed testing of the system is given. The system works stably with 1.2 GHz sampling rate and accuracy of 8bit. © 2011 IEEE.; In the ocean exploration and research, remote sensing technology has become one of the most effective means.
