Other AbstractAn analysis of 2-D wave-action spectrum balance equation and its source-sink function, which describing the mechanism of wave-current interaction,is presented.By using this mechanism, the perturbation of surface action spectrum caused by internal-wave wake due to underwater moving object is numerically simulated, and the possible phenomena of 2-D asymmetry of spectrum perturbation for the various configurations is shown.According to the radar imaging of microwave scattering theory and the action spectrum of perturbation simulation results,it is suggested that waves wake asymmetry on the radar imaging data may be derived from the asymmetry of the action spectrum perturbation.
