Abstract设计并制作了一个W波段的极化器,设计参数为金属丝直径100 mum,间距300 mum实测结果表明,金属丝直径和间距的均值分别为100.3 mum,300.2 mum;标准差为5.2 mum,8.3 mum,表明极化器具有较高的加工精度和良好的均匀性;同时其表面平整度优于30 mum另外,测试了极化器的透射系数以及极化器作为可变衰减器时的透射系数,测试结果与理论计算结果具有良好的一致性,具有良好的极化性能.
Other AbstractThis paper demonstrates the designing and fabrication process of a W-wave polarizer with fine metal wires. The wires were designed to be 100 mum in diameter and 300 mum between each other. The mean values of these two parameters of the fabricated wire are 100.3 mum and 300.2 mum, with the standard deviations 5.2 mum and 8.3 mum respectively. Results show that the polarization grid has high fabrication precision and uniformity, and the polarizer surface flatness is better than 30 mum. In addition, the power transmission coefficient was measured. The actual measurement results and theoretical calculation results agree with each other perfectly. The polarizer fabricated by this new method has excellent performance.
