AbstractTo solve the defects of ECG detecting with wet electrode in manned spaceflight, including skin allergy, complex operation, and conductive gel drying up, uncomfortableness and other issues, a noncontact ECG detection system with the capacitively coupled electrode was proposed in this paper. With this detection system, the ECG acquisition experiments in spaceflight medical monitoring state were carried out. And the comparison experiments of the waveform morphology similarity between this detection system and wet electrode detection system were carried out. The results show that this system can realize the clear detection of the P wave, QRS wave, and T wave of the space lead, compared with the ECG signal from wet electrode, the waveform morphology similarity is >95 %, which meet the quality requirements of ECG waveform of the space doctors. © Springer Science+Business Media Singapore 2016.
