AbstractWith the development of the space, Solid State Recorder (SSR) has become more and more important. More space explore tasks means more data, so the capacity and throughput of SSR should be larger and higher. We designed a high-speed SSR structure which is flexible and configurable in both capacity and throughput. The SSR used a domestic CPU, LONGSON, and FPGA as control unit. The interface between the two chips is PCI and HPI alternatively. HPI, which is a low speed bus, is used for ordinary tasks. PCI, which is a high speeding bus, is used for high throughput application. Also, with the PCI bus the capacity and throughput of the system can be extended. The two interfaces design enhances the flexibility of the system, and also realizes the flexibility of equipment. © 2015 Taylor & Francis Group, London.
