Abstract | A Ku-band groove gap waveguide leaky wave antenna based on Taylor line source method is presented. We pay special attention to having low side lobes in the interested band. Taylor line source method is employed for designing the propagation constant along the wave propagating direction. Results show that the side lobes are suppressed below -15dB within the interested frequency band, which demonstrates that Taylor line source is effective if appropriate used in gap waveguide. © 2017 IEEE. |
