Abstract

The concept of Geostationary Interferometric Microwave Sounder (GIMS) is based on microwave interferometric radiometer technology with a rotating circular thinned array. A full-scale GIMS engineering demonstrator has been successfully developed, and several field tests have been carried out. This paper is aimed to discuss calibration method and data processing procedure. Also, the experimental performance and imaging results are presented. © 2018 IEEE.
