AbstractThis paper presents the latest development of NSSC's GNOS-2 instrument. GNOS-2 adds new GNSS-R features to the successful GNOS receiver, which provides POD and occultation observations, on FY3C and FY3D. GNSS-R data of GNOS-2 could be used to study the state of sea and land. First flight of GNOS-2 is expected to be on-board FY3E satellite. The software system of GNOS-2' s engineering model is introduced in this paper. A real-time DDM module developed based on segment correlation and FFT, as well as a raw data sampling module, are designed to receive the reflected GPS/BD signal from a wide code and frequency range. Main features and parameters of the GNSS-R software are illustrated. Lab test results are shown.
