Abstract | Based on [1], a quantitative comparison of resolution enhancement performance for three deconvolution approaches (L2 norm, L1 norm and TV) to DPS scatterometer over nadir swath are made. The spatial resolution and reconstruction accuracy/precision properties of these methods are analyzed and compared. Results show that resolution enhancement is achieved by the price of decreased accuracy/precision of reconstructed backscatter, and the reconstructed backscatter becomes a more smoothed version of truth backscatter with decrease of spatial resolution. |
