摘要Full Polarization Interferometric Radiometer (FPIR) is a one-dimensional full polarization Interferometric radiometer for the Sea Surface Salinity (SSS). A ground-based prototype has been developed to demonstrate the concept and performance of the instrument. A new calibration system has been designed for FPIR. To evaluate the performance of FPIR demonstrator, a ground-based Salinity measurement experiment has been successfully performed and valuable results have been achieved. In this paper, the results of the ground-based experiment are analyzed in detail and the new calibration system and calibration procedure is evaluated. In addition, an airborne based experiment for the Ocean Salinity has been designed, which will provide in-depth validation for FPIR system.
