AbstractLongjiang-2, the world's first microsatellite that completed lunar transfer, lunar insertion and lunar orbiting independently, is introduced in this paper. Firstly, the mission objects and design overview of the microsatellite are expounded. Then, the technical difficulties of the microsatellite, including orbit design and control, measurement and suppression of onboard electromagnetic interference, and wide-field 3D baseline interferometry, are analyzed. In addition, the implementation process of the mission is reviewed. Finally, the onboard payloads, including the low frequency radio interferometer, the Saudi optical camera, the VHF/UHF radio and the student CMOS camera, are elaborated; Moreover, the flight results of the onboard payloads are presented. © 2020, Editorial Dept. of JA.
