AbstractIn this paper, a frequency selective rasorber (FSR) with a wide transmission band and a wide absorption band is proposed. The proposed FSR is a triple-layer structure, which is composed of a resistive sheet and a two-layer wide bandpass frequency selective surface (FSS). The resistive sheet is loaded with lumped parallel LC resonators, and the wide bandpass FSS is realized on hexagonal cell. Simulation results indicated that a 1 dB wide transmission band of 12.3-21.4 GHz and an absorption band from 3.7-8.8GHz were achieved. The transmission performance of the FSR also has stability on incidence angle under TM polarization oblique incidence.
